Brain Snack :
a message or news item that might be considered appetizing or otherwise beneficial. This refers to the fact that the information is being delivered directly to the receivers cerebral cortex.
Blink :
also, News Blink. A short news item delivered via Remz broadcasts. Psy-Com Technologies provides its popular communication service to subscribers, including News Blinks. These news reports are delivered directly to the minds of Remz subscribers.
Boagratz (bo-grats) : a blatant untruth. This vulgar expletive is used to express extreme displeasure or exasperation.
Catrina Fellina (Ca-tree-na Fu-lee-na):
a popular announcer/broadcaster/personality, who delivers news and introduces programs, reads advertisements, etc. Ms. Fellina is employed by Psy-Com Industries, a subsidiary of the RebEarth Corporation.
Cosmic Freedom Festival :
The Festival is widely considered to be an expression of the indomitable will of humanity. It may well have been the inevitable reaction to the years of suppressed individual freedom under the rule of The Pantheon. The Festival lasted three days and nearly sparked a counterculture revolution. For an inspiring moment it seemed that the ideals of love, peace, and brotherhood had become a reality. In subsequent years the now annual Festival has drawn criticism for its corporate sponsors and a failure to live up to its own ideals.
Day Dreamerz :
a familiar term referring to subscribers to Psy-Com's Remz technology. Psy-Com offers news, entertainment, education, and full-sensory-experiences, delivered directly to the sensory cortex of the brain. Also, see "Skriberz."
Fizzlesprung : malfunctioning or broken down. When something is not operating as it should, it is fizzlesprung. This term was popularized by Whizzo the clown in the mid-twentieth century.
Frykstung (frike-stoong) :
appalling, awful, dreadful, frightful, ghastly, grisly, gruesome, hideous, horrendous, horrible, horrid, horrific, lurid, macabre, monstrous, abominable, shocking.
The Idle Reich :
an Interstellar traveling musical band. The group consists of four hugely famous members: Amon D'Edge, Fremley, Gitnoph Traxx, and Rominn.
The Idle Reich are considered to be the most popular musicians in history. Their most successful composition to date is a Skrok song entitled, "Justin Zane." They are extremely influential and financially successful. The Idle Reich are often referred to by their fans and their detractors, as anarchists.
Kredd (cred) :
believe, understand, grok, comprehend.
Krill:
The smallest significant detail. The term refers in a vague way to anything that might be even remotely important. Originally the word simply referred to a planktonic marine crustacean from the planet Earth.
Miaau (mee-ow):
a common greeting that can be used as either hello or goodbye. The word also has many other meanings which include affection, mercy, peace, and compassion. It is thought to be derived from the Earth language Afrikaans, and can be translated as Meeow.
The Mind Wars :
named for the cruel way that The Pantheon subverted the will of humanity through mind control. Traditional combat techniques and weaponry were almost completely absent, as Earthlings were largely conquered by manipulation of their thoughts and emotions.
Multiez (mul-teez):
people, although the term is not species specific. It is most often used to describe friends or associates.
Multz :
Same as Multiez.
The Pantheon :
an extraterrestrial species, capable of altering their appearance. The Pantheon conquered the Earth Government and its satellite worlds through technological superiority, deception and mind control. Although The Pantheon was eventually defeated, the years of extraterrestrial occupation left Earth forever altered.
Remming :
experiencing, to rem. Subscribers to Psy-Com's Remz technology talk about remming the way that we might speak of reading or watching. Although the term started out as a reference to patented Remz media services, it has fallen in to a more general use. The term is frequently used in place of such words as seeing or hearing.
SIFS :
Structural Integrity Fields. Force fields, often used in the construction of space faring craft. They strengthen and reinforce physical constructs which might normally buckle under the pressures of
fluctuating interstellar phenomenon.

Thickness :
A slang term meaning that something is substantial or real. Thickness refers to something of considerable importance, believable, consistant, or significant.
Thin :
A slang term that means, insubstantial, unbelievable, unlikely, or without merit or value.
TOMBS (tooms) :
the nickname of a mysterious Intergalactic Medical Association satelite. The Trans-Orbital Mental Behaviour Satellite operates with resident personnel of over 1,000. The satellite serves as a diagnosis and treatment center for some of the most dangerous psychopaths in the galaxy. Some are sent there only for mental evaluation, but it is said that once someone has entered "the TOMBS," they never come out again.
Xarridaan (Zar-i-dan):
a superlative that can be considered to encompass the meanings of the words; awesome, spectacular, unbelievable, extraordinary, astounding, stunning, phenomenal, awe-inspiring, amazing, formidable, superhuman, great, and nifty.
Yasgur's Planetoid (yas-girz plan-et-oid):
a stable asteroid known primarily as the location of the Cosmic Freedom Festival.
Zummy :
Yummy, tasty, a treat.
