Steve Lightle
is an artist, a storyteller, a husband, father and grandfather
Steve says that his current project, JUSTiN ZANE is a continuation of his childhood love of the comic book art form. His first printed comic book work was a self-published comic called "The Power Masters." Steve thinks of JUSTiN ZANE as a continuation of that early experience, despite the intervening three decade long detour through the world of professional publishing.
Starting in late 1983, Steve Lightle began a respected career in mainstream comics, by co-creating a new character for DC Comics. The hero was called EKKO, and his brief adventures were recorded in a book called "New Talent Showcase."
LUNATICK PRESS founder, Steve Lightle, was profoundly influenced by cartoon imagery from a very early age.
Characters such as MIGHTY MOUSE, BATMAN & ROBIN, SPIDER-MAN,
POPEYE the Sailor, inspired a life of creativity.
A short list of Steve's professional accomplishments would include work produced for;
OnStar, Hi-C Fruit Drinks, Sterling Software, Cartoon Network, DC Comics, Six Flags Theme Parks, and Marvel Comics.
